
The Carillon Brass originally came together as a brass quintet of music major students from the University of Northern Iowa School of Music. Founded in 1978 by Stacy (Roberts) Ingraham, an undergraduate student, the group performed one of many concerts atop the bells of the University Carillon, with the music echoing throughout the city of Cedar Falls, IA.

We offer a range of services to help you discover the perfect music to enhance your event. We can offer amazing music for church services, particularly at Easter and Christmas. We love the opportunity to enhance any wedding with a brilliant, rich brass sound. We are also available for celebrations such as Christmas and holiday parties.

Our ensemble is made up of professional musicians from the Greater Twin Cities of Minnesota. We are music enthusiasts who are dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our clients. With years of experience in the live music industry, we have the expertise and passion to help you discover an enrichment of Rennaissance, Baroque and Classical music.

Takako Seimiya Senn – Trumpet
She earned her Bachelor of Music in
performance and education at Musashino Academia
Musicae, Tokyo, Japan, and her Master’s and Doctorate of
Musical Arts in Performance at the University of Minnesota.
She has studied with Manny Laureano, David Baldwin and Ron Hasselmann. Takako plays regularly with the Minnesota Orchestra and is a member of the Minnesota Pops Orchestr

John Huth - Trumpet
John completed his master's in trumpet at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Since arriving in the Twin Cities, John has played with several regional orchestras, including the Rochester Symphony. He is a former member of the Aurora Brass Quintet and currently performs with the Compass Rose Brass Ensemble. John teaches in the Band Instrument Repair program at Minnesota State

Joe Hazlett - Trumpet
Joe Hazlett relocated to Minneapolis in 1996 to pursue a master's degree in music at the University of Minnesota. He studied under David Baldwin and Manny Laureano. Joe has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, Minnesota Opera, Vocal Essence, & Minnesota Choral. He serves as Principal Trumpet with the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. Stacy Ingraham, Ph.D. – Horn

Michael has been the Principal Trombone with the Mankato Symphony since 1993. He played 10 seasons with the Aurora Brass Quintet and also served as Lead Trombone with the Nova Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, a group he now serves as music director.
